A little about me

Nipun Dubey is the co-founder and CEO of HappiNest.AI, an AI leasing platform that automates lead response, qualification, tour scheduling, and follow up for property management companies through deep integrations with property management systems and listing portals. Before HappiNest, he led growth and product at early startups and worked at LinkedIn and Zymergen, after studying business and anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania. He is based in Tampa, Florida, and is active in the Tampa Bay startup community. He speaks about AI in property operations, lessons from building vertical AI, and building a startup in Tampa.

I am the co-founder and CEO of HappiNest.AI. We build AI that runs leasing for property management companies. The platform answers leads, qualifies renters, schedules tours, and follows up, through deep integrations with property management systems and listing portals. The company lives at happinest.ai, and anything worth knowing about it is there.

I came to this as an operator. I studied business and anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania, started out at LinkedIn and Zymergen, and spent the years since inside early startups, leading growth and product and co-founding a company before this one. The lesson kept repeating from every direction: most work inside a company is a process waiting to be understood, and once you understand a process you can improve it.

Leasing is exactly that kind of process. A prospective renter who asks about an apartment expects an answer in minutes, at any hour, and a leasing team juggling calls, tours, and move ins cannot always give one. The gap is expensive for operators and frustrating for renters. It is also the kind of work AI is genuinely good at: respond instantly, ask the right qualifying questions, offer a tour time, and follow up until there is an answer. HappiNest exists to do that work, inside the systems property managers already use.

I build from Tampa, Florida, and I am active in the Tampa Bay startup community. The bet is simple: this city is becoming a real place to build companies, and I would rather help make that true than watch it happen from somewhere else.
